DESCRIPTION:In recognition of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation\, the BCEIA is once again partnering with the BC Environmental Film Festival (BCEFF) for a special double-bill exploring Indigenous-led stewardship\, ecological restoration\, and our responsibilities to the lands and waters that sustain us.\n\n\n\nThe screening features&nbsp\;The Medzih Story: Restoring a Caribou Population\, documenting Fort Nelson First Nation’s work to restore caribou habitat in Treaty 8 Territory\, and&nbsp\;Fragile Flow\, a powerful look at the diitiida/Jordan River watershed and the possibilities for ecological repair and renewal.\n\n\n\nTogether\, the films offer two place-based stories of resilience\, restoration and responsibility\, while inviting audiences to consider reconciliation as an ongoing relationship with land\, water\, wildlife and future generations. Total film running time: 33 minutes.
