PRESS RELEASE

ERIS and GeoSearch unite, raising the standard of property due diligence in North America

Combining strengths in Environmental Risk Data, Historical Information, and Leading Technologies
TORONTO, ONTARIO and AUSTIN, TEXAS –  December 1, 2020 — Environmental Risk Information Services (“ERIS”) and GeoSearch LLC (“GeoSearch”), both leading providers of historic and current environmental data and information, are announcing the merger of their business operations to offer a unified risk information service solution for commercial real estate in North America.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. How will this change in ownership impact me?

For ERIS customers, there will be no change to any product or service delivery. For the next several months, GeoSearch customers can continue to order as they have always done. A full complement of production, sales and service personnel at GeoSearch will continue to fulfill orders. There will be no immediate change in the way invoicing is administered. We expect that by mid-2021, GeoSearch data and systems will be integrated into the new ERIS. Prior to this, should GeoSearch customers wish to try ERIS products, they simply need to speak to their Regional Account Manager.

2. What do I stand to gain from the deal? What are the benefits to me?

ERIS and GeoSearch customers will benefit from an enhanced, more robust database for their reports. GeoSearch customers will be assigned a Regional Account Manager. ERIS is modifying some of the sales territories to optimize customer service and account management.

3. Will there be any staffing changes that might affect me?

No, and in fact, over 95% of employees have been retained to move forward and build the integrated company. The Sales team has grown, and sales territories optimized for more attention and focused account management.

4. Who do I call if I have a problem or concern?

Customers should call their Regional Account Manager, connect with our live chat at erisinfo.com, or contact [email protected] Senior Vice President of Operations, or Jeff Doerner, Senior Vice President of US Sales [email protected].

5. Who will lead the combined company going forward?

Carol Le Noury, President of ERIS, will be the President of the combined company with the following executive team:

> Scott Davis, Senior Vice President of Operations
> Jeff Doerner, Senior Vice President of US Sales
> Diana Saccone, Senior Vice President of Information Technology
> Mark Mattei, Senior Vice President of Business Development

6. Where will the company be headquartered?

ERIS’ North American Head Office is located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. ERIS’ US office and GeoSearch’ office are both located in Austin, Texas – these offices will be amalgamated in the near future.

7. What is the legal name of the new organization?

The legal name of ERIS remains unchanged: ERIS Information Inc.

8. Where should suppliers send invoices?

Suppliers should continue to send invoices to either ERIS or GeoSearch depending on who they are providing service to, until further notice.
